SSAGO RALLIES
SLIC has taken part in four SSAGO Rallies since starting. We have so far at most had two people going.
In November '05 James Knights and Felix went to there first SSAGO Rally in Leeds. That was the most eventful weekend for the two boys. On the way up on the Friday night they got stuck in traffic on the M1 in the East Midlands. It took them, to do a 4 hr journey, some 8 hours or so due to the problems on the motorway. I think once they got there is was worth it. The "Barn Dance" was great fun, where else are you allowed to dress as Dangermouse????
I would like everyone to please join me in remembering a marvellous little machine that was Felix's Mini. RIP
The February'06 Rally was also a good time. At least we got to and from Birmingham better than Leeds! The Summer '06 Rally in Nottingham was a good. Apart from watching England drop out the World Cup, but what else is new?
